"The goal isn’t to live forever, it is to create something that will."
In our hearts, we all know that death is a part of life and its the biggest reality. In fact, death gives meaning to our existence because it reminds us how PRECIOUS life is and makes us NOT take it for granted. Acceptance of the reality of mortality, can help teach us to live more fully in the here and now, value every relationship, and enable us to cherish every moment of the life we have.
Losing someone is tough. It's like a big journey through our feelings. Every step we take helps us realize that healing doesn't mean forgetting, but keeping the good memories close. It's like adding those memories to our lives, making something that honors them and what they meant to us. It shows how strong we can be. We don't ignore the hurt; instead, we turn it into something that helps us remember and grow.
Coping with the loss of a loved one is never easy and often leads to grief and distress. Everyone copes with grief differently taking their own time to go through the various stages to process death, before reaching acceptance. It is acceptance that brings about a shift from grieving to healing! Reaching the acceptance and adjusting to the loss does not mean that all the pain is over. It means you are ready to accept the new reality and move on cherishing the memories and legacy of your loved one.
