I have always been fascinated with human behavior, thoughts, feelings, relationships and spirituality for as long as I can remember. I asked the questions: Why do people do the things they do? Why do I feel this way? How do people change? How culture, families, physical health, relationships and religion impact a person’s personal growth? And more importantly how do you move from being “stuck” in problems to finding solutions to living life more fully?

I am fortunate to have had the opportunity to pursue a career that allowed me to find answers to these questions and at the same time help others find answers to living their lives more successfully. My choice to become a therapist was inspired by my own journey and life experiences, and represents the culmination of all I have learnt, felt and become. This is the work that I feel I was meant to do. I find great satisfaction and meaning in helping my clients gain insight and awareness, access their innate strengths and resources, and develop the skills and confidence to create a more fulfilling and balanced life. I have a passion to help empower others and bring more awareness to their lives and their struggles.

As a Holistic Wellness Counselor/Therapist , I provide compassionate support to individuals, couples and families. I also work with children and adolescents, either individually or as part of family treatment. My approach to treatment is integrative: I don’t have a “one size fits all” philosophy. I blend a variety of approaches to successfully address depression and anxiety, relationship challenges, trauma, struggles with self-image, confidence and well-being, life transitions, diminished sense of meaning and purpose in life, loneliness, and grief and loss. My specialized and personal treatment incorporates years of proven techniques that aim to uncover and solve problems at their root. 

I strongly believe it takes a lot of strength and courage to seek therapy and ask for help and studies have repeatedly shown that the single most important factor in predicting successful treatment outcomes is the relationship between therapist and patient.  Whatever your reason for therapy, I provide a trusting, safe and confidential environment where you can feel heard and safe enough to identify and share issues that you are currently experiencing. You will be encouraged to speak honestly and openly and be understood and accepted for who you really are. Through trust, empathy, and understanding, we will work together to help you  develop a greater level of self-awareness, self-understanding and discovery of new strengths. An increased self-esteem and confidence will enable you lead to a more contented life with happier relationships (both with yourself and with others). You will be empowered and supported to be independent in making your own choices and decisions.
