When Loss Teaches Us How to Live

We spend so much of our life worrying, overthinking, and stressing about things that ultimately won’t matter. Everyone has their own worries but when someone we love doesn’t wake up one day, all of those worries suddenly feel so insignificant. It made me realize how much of our time and effort we spend being anxious about things we cannot control, obsessing over outcomes that don’t really matter, and stressing over moments that won’t hold any meaning in the grand scheme of life. The energy we pour into these worries could be better spent on what really counts; our relationships, our experiences, and simply being present.

The ones we love who are no longer with us leave behind lessons we often overlook amid life’s chaos:

- Let go of regrets from the past, and worries about the future. Neither the past nor the future exists. Present is the only reality- live in it!

- Focus on what you can control, and let go of what you cannot

- Don’t rush to find all the answers; they come in their own time.

- Value the people around you, and spend time with them so you never have regrets about lost moments.

- Let go of stress. Cherish every moment. Live don’t just exist. Strive, don’t just thrive.
