All hypnosis is not the same, but at Grace Counselling Coaching & Mediation Services our approach is based on proven psychological principles, upheld by high ethical standards through the American Association of Hypnotherapy.
Hypnotherapy with us involves 3 consultations:
The First Consultation is similar to a counselling session – Lorraine will ask you what you want to change in your life. You will answer some questions about the unwanted behaviour you wish to change and then Lorraine will give you a task to do for 7 days, and invite you back for a second consultation.
The Second Consultation will involve further therapy exploring your answers to the client questions you were given and tasks set. In this session you will be trained in effective management of your thought cycle and internal map of reality. Lorraine will then do a hypnotic relaxation exercise with you. You may find that even this session will bring about change in your life.
In the Third Consultation you will go into deep hypnosis with Lorraine.
